  1. Sword Quest

  3. "Sword Quest 1" version 2.0 is a role 
  4. playing adventure game in which the 
  5. user creates and controls a character, 
  6. the Royal Jester, throughout a quest 
  7. to rid the land of Ferd from the evil 
  8. creatures fostered by The Evil Warlock. 
  9. The only way to complete the game is 
  10. to find the Evil Warlock and kill him.
  11. To do this the character must find 
  12. various magical items. To find the loc-
  13. ations of these items and other inform-
  14. ation the character may talk to other 
  15. people in various towns and caves. To 
  16. buy magical potions, items, and armaments 
  17. the character must talk over the counter 
  18. to the people in various stores. When 
  19. traveling over land or in caves the
  20. character will meet many monsters that 
  21. he/she must fight. When fighting a monster 
  22. the character's Hit Points will be decreased 
  23. by the attacks of the monster. If the Hit 
  24. Points fall below zero the character will 
  25. die. To replenish Hit and Magic Points the 
  26. player must return to the main castle or 
  27. sleep in an inn. The character may gain 
  28. gold to purchase items by killing monsters 
  29. and opening chests. Throughout the game menus 
  30. will be shown, displaying the player's options.
